Week 10 Card Swap Chain

Image
Welcome to our last week of this card swap chain! Today we start with a card by Tracy. I really like how Tracy has used double circles for the sentiment and love the flowers.   Tracy has been the amazing demonstrator who has organised this whole card swap chain!  Thank you. This is the card that I received. This card is amazing card that I received to CASE it!  I loved how the green card was made with re inkers.  Great use of the large ABC letter dies.   I had way too much fun creating the back ground card stock with re inkers.  It was a little darker than I had wanted as use too much ink.  Less is definately more in this case.   Hope you have enjoyed the 10 weeks of this Card Swap Chain! Week 9 Chain Card Swap

Welcome to week 9!  Second last week.   I was sitting at the Carols By Candle Light Rehearsal last night as I wrote this post.  The weather was absolutely fantastic.  Hope I’m not too burnt? I did put sunscreen on.  This wonderful chain started with Monique rustic blue card. Really love this design, which would be great as a male birthday card!  My card was round 8 out of 10 cards!  I cased this card from Genna.  Somehow along the chain the card turned into a shaker card. I love how Genna has put the envelopes into her shaker card.   Here is my card.  Kintsugi paper packet is secretly one of my favourite papers!  For my shaker parts I die cut some branches and punched out some circles with ordinary hole punch! (This was after glueing 2 two pieces of gold foil paper together) The 3D foam strips were very useful in creating a space around my vase cut out!  I really did have loads of fun with this card!   Hope you ...

Hello everyone and welcome to week 8 of our Chain Card Swap. This round started with Genna's beautiful card.    Love how Genna has placed her rectangles on slight angles.   Here is Monique's card that arrived for me to CASE it!   This card certainly stretched me and I had to learn how to do it.  That is one of the great ways I love to do this chain is to learn new techniques. Here is my card: Do yo want to know how I did this card? Simply cut 3 rectangles of white or light cardstock. Place them in position on a stamp mat,  and stamp the image.  There will be some gaps around the edges but this is covered by cardstock you mount the stamped images onto!   Love this image of the tree and I simply embossed the sentiment with white embossing powder! Enjoy the rest of this round! Blog Hop Index

Welcome to week 7 of 10 rounds of our Chain Card Swap. This week Ros started the round with here beautiful card below. I do really love how Ros has put this card together! The card I received was from Tracy Held. I love the sail boats and the clouds.  This was hard for me to case it! Her is my card: I did have fun with this card.  I used white craft ink for the clouds.  Flower embossing on the green cardstock on the bottom of card and wonky circles in behind the rabbits. The rabbits are from Storybook moments paper packet.   I hope you are enjoying this card hop!  Up next is Mandy. Blog Hop Index

Welcome to week 6 of Card Swap Chain! This week, it is my card that starts the chain!  I was a little nervous when I first did this cards as I had never done a Card Swap Chain.  But it is always good to step out of your comfort zone and give something new a turn! This was a great time to use the damask designs embossing folder on the Night of Navy card stock as the background for the card.  The dotty paper is from Celebratory Sips and the gorgeous flowers are die cut fro Impressions Abloom (currently on last chance). The sentiment is from Layered thoughts photopolymer stamp set and the gems are from 2025-2027 in colour flat pearls! I hope you like how you can easily copy this card with your own papers and cardstock! The next person is Julia and I hope you have fun seeing how much this card changes along the way.
